EASIER COMMUNITY group CAMP Planning
CYC makes camp planning easier for group leaders & coordinators
Traditionally the most frustrating part of organising camp is the administration: allocating rooms, organising special diets and arranging support for any medical or special need requirements. With our easy to use self-service portal this is a thing of the past, with group leaders & coordinators now able to upload information to us easily as well as download important information such as Risk Assessments and compliance documentation.
Our program planning staff will liaise with your group leader to ensure that we meet your specific camp objectives. Through instructor-led outdoor activities programmed to complement your own program, or a full camp program with instructor-led outdoor activities – from design through to implementation.
We look forward to working together with you to create a memorable experience for you and your guests.

CYC policies
For over 70 years, CYC has been bringing people together through camps that inspire connection, belonging, and personal growth. Our community group camps are more than just a weekend away — they’re designed to help people bond over shared passions, discover new perspectives, and enjoy meaningful time together in a relaxed, supportive setting.
We understand that every group is unique, which is why we create flexible experiences tailored to your goals — whether it’s team-building, learning, or simply enjoying nature. With accredited facilities, experienced staff, and a reputation built on care and excellence, CYC provides a welcoming environment where everyone feels included, valued, and connected.
Safety is our top priority. Every CYC Limited facility is accredited by the Australian Camping Association (ACA) and the National Accommodation, Recreation and Tourism Accreditation (NARTA), both recognised by the Victorian Education Department. Our camps follow strict safety protocols to ensure a secure and supportive environment for all campers.
Our volunteers undergo extensive training and vetting before working at camp. Many have attended CYC camps themselves and are passionate about creating a safe, welcoming, and positive experience for young people. Adventure activity staff are certified and signed off by a Level 3 ropes course instructor and workplace trainer before leading any activities.
CYC has been hosting community group camps for over 70 years, helping people from all walks of life connect, learn, and grow together. Drawing on decades of experience, we’ve created a welcoming environment that blends adventure, relaxation, and genuine connection — making every camp a memorable and meaningful experience.
Every CYC adventure activity staff member is professionally trained and assessed by a Level 3 ropes course instructor and workplace trainer before leading activities. We also use industry-approved equipment and follow strict safety procedures to ensure all activities are run safely and professionally.
Yes! All CYC Limited facilities and campsites are fully accredited by the ACA (Australian Camping Association) and NARTA (National Accommodation, Recreation and Tourism Accreditation), which are both recognised by the Victorian Education Department. This ensures we meet the highest safety and operational standards for youth camps.
Every camp is led by a team of highly trained staff and carefully vetted volunteers. We maintain strict supervision ratios and ensure all leaders create a supportive, encouraging, and inclusive atmosphere for campers.
All camp staff are trained in first aid and emergency procedures, and our campsites are equipped with safety plans, emergency communication systems, and trained personnel on-site at all times. Parents can have peace of mind knowing that their child’s safety is always our highest priority.
CYC is a Christian organisation, and our core ministry focuses on faith-based Holiday Camps during school holidays. However, when hosting schools, corporate retreats, sports teams, or special interest groups, we are fully respectful of different beliefs and do not preach or provide religious instruction unless specifically requested by the group.
Our focus for all groups is to provide exceptional camp experiences in a welcoming and inclusive environment, ensuring that everyone enjoys their time without pressure or expectations around faith. If you have any concerns, we encourage an open conversation to tailor your camp experience to suit your group’s needs.
